What I Wear Running //April 2018

It's getting warmer. So naturally, changes are happening when it comes to gear. Have a read if you are interested in what my favourites were during the past month.

Nike Sports Bra.
This is one of my favourite bras for every day running. It's comfortable, I never had any chafing issues and it comes in a lot of different designs and colourways. For me being a B cup it absolutely provides enough support for running. I don't know what more to ask in a sports bra.

Running Belt.
My choice if I just need to carry my essentials. It stores my phone and keys and it doesn't bother me. When I go for longer runs though, especially now that it's getting warmer, I rather go for a vest, but if I don't need to carry something to drink this is a good choice.

I'm not gonna get too much into this because I don't really spend much thought on my running tops for my everyday exercises. I want it to be light, technical fabric and if I'm very exposed to the sun I choose something with short sleeves. This one is a Puma singlet but really, anything goes.

Suunto Ambit3 (plus heart rate strap).
I love this thing! I will not go deeper into this since I plan on doing this another time. It definitely deserves a post for itself. I say that much, like most, me and my running watch have a very close bond...

Stance Socks.
For quite a while I didn't get the point in wearing fancy running socks. I just didn't want to take the splurge either, to be honest. And still, for most of my runs which don't last longer than 1hour or 1hour 30 I still don't feel like I need it (I'd go for cheaper multi-pack running socks). But it is nice to get into a nice pair of socks, which stay snug fitting after a couple of washes and which look beautiful or fun or whatever you want them to look.

Nike Full-Flex 2-in-1 Shorts.
Probably my fave shorts. I tend to live in them during summer because they are just very comfortable. They're a 2-in-1 short and you'd have to put them into the category of shorty shorts. I have to admit that I don't think they're actually running shorts, they have two relatively big pockets but none with a zipper. Not ideal for running maybe but I do find other storage places (like that belt for example) and I don't mind it. The bottom layer slightly rides up my quads but not to the point where it would bother me. The top layer has a full split up the sides and it never restricts me. I have it for a while, wear it tons, washed it tons and it has proven to be quite durable. If I'd have to pick one short for the rest of my runs, this one is it.

Not too much on these ones either. Running shoes get their own post as well, just like watches. This is an Asics FuzeX which is one of my go-to options for easy, non-technical terrain. 8mm drop, seamless upper, full ground contact. More to come on this one.

There you have it! This is a good representation of my everyday used gear.
